Sadly PROM is only the wrapper that allows PCSX2 to run on Mac. PCSX2 isn't updated, probably it doesn't works on Catalina. I have followed all the instructions and have gotten PROM setup and running on my MBP 2018 running 10.15.5. In some future if WINE adds the support for Metal to "emulate" OpenGL, then *maybe*.

Unfortunately, I'm running into a problem that seemed like it was solved: I've followed the PROM instructions and downloaded the right things, I've disabled my virus software that was flagging everything, and I've done the "master-disable" thing, but my computer still says the PROM file is damaged and won't open it. So I used to have a PCSX and PCSX both running on my macbook pro 15 retina late 2012. I can either send it to the trash or do nothing, there doesn't seem to be a way to force it open.

Recently I added RAM to have 16GB and swapped HDD to SSD for performance boost. This is due to the removal of OpenGL support on recent macOS versions. Currently Wine still requires 32-bit code to run 32-bit Windows software, which is a problem for Catalina (which dropped 32-bit code support almost completely), and cannot be solved with a simple recompilation.It's only possible to use Wine for some 64-bit Windows software.
